NEURO-LINQUISTIC PROGRAMMING
What is NLP?
NLP focuses on personal development and the study of reproduction of human excellence and was founded in the early 1970s by John Grinder and Richard Bandler. Their research wanted to determine the elements of behaviour differentiating people who are extremely successful and those who are not as successful in respect of their performance. Noted for their excellent work in the field of therapy, Virginia Satir, Fritz Pearls and Milton Erickson were chosen by Grinder and Bandler as models for the study of human excellence.
The fundamental part of NLP is to determine, or identify, a model of the skills used; in other words, the smallest parts of behaviour that make a person excellent at what they do. The objective is that other individuals can learn from that model of excellence and can adapt their own behaviour patterns in order that they can improve their own skill levels. For example, a study of highly motivated and organised people would reveal in great detail behaviour patterns which could be modelled by individuals less motivated and where aspects of their lives were more disorganised.
'Focuses on personal development and achieving excellence'
NLP is a model of how individuals structure or arrange their own unique experience of life. It then deals with the structure of that uniquely perceived experience in terms of how we organise what is seen, heard and felt and how we use our senses to filter and revise how we view the outside world.
To summarise therefore, NLP is the study of how our behaviour is affected by language and understanding of outside experiences.
NLP techniques can be used during the hypnotic state, or state of deep relaxation, as well as during a normal waking state and can be described as a sort of waking hypnosis.
Aim of NLP?

Gives you the opportunity to look at the world from various perspectives.
You will be able to gather more information and discover more choices if you allow yourself to be more flexible when examinining your situation.
What can NLP help with?
There are many situations and circumstances where NLP techniques can be employed. Businesses and organisations, both in the public and private sectors, often provide training opportunities for their staff and in this respect NLP techniques are used to enhance individual performance based upon proven models of excellence. NLP also helps to improve self-confidence, promote motivation and goal attainment and to be successful.
SYMBIODYNAMICS
What is SymbioDynamics?
SymbioDynamics can be a powerful therapy and coaching model created by Terence Watts, an internationally renowned Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, Author, Principal and Trainer at The Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis. The concept of SymbioDynamics was formed in the latter 1990s and further research brought it to fruition in the new millenium.
Our thought processes stimulate neurological pathways in the physical brain and the methodology of SymbioDynamics helps to quickly awaken or activate essential psychological resources which may be inactive in the mind.
'A powerful concept and coaching model for personal self-improvement and goal attainment'
SymbioDynamics uses a central structure or technique called M.A.G.I.C. for Minds and together they work effectively to help mobilise the components for success, personal achievement and self-improvement. Working with this powerful concept, it can help clients to work towards achieving personal tasks which they set themselves - it may be for personal self-improvement, achieving a particular goal, or establishing and maintaining a loving relationship. It can help individuals to find and achieve what they want out of life. SymbioDynamics endeavours to bring about beneficial change and allow individuals to continually develop from those changes.
This therapy help the mind to clearly focus on thoughts, ideas or goals. These thoughts can then devlop furthr so that these ideas or goals evolve into reality. The conscious and the subconscious mind work mutually together when dealing with a problem or difficulty being experienced.
NLP can help with low self-esteem, stress, some fears, phobias and habits, to name but a few.
